The interior of this gite is undoubtedly
dominated by wooden features. In its comfortable atmosphere you can relax
after your many excursions into the surrounding area. In the summer you will
particularly appreciate having the garden for your barbeques. In winter you
will enjoy the warmth of a good fire.
This gite is situated in Tardets, which has a large commercial centre including
several restaurants, a Tourist Office, a chemist, a doctor and all kinds of
shops.
The natural environment which this town enjoys offers a range of leisure activities
: fishing, horse riding, and walking , ( plus the possibility of visiting
the pre-Roman chapel of la Madeleine). The ‘masquerades’ and ‘pastorales’
are medieval traditions which this area has preserved with the passing of
time. The carnavals are also of great interest.
Tardets is situated in La Soule, one of the seven provinces of the Basque
Country. Plunge into the heart of the Pyrenees between the mountains and the
ocean.
This gite can accommodate 6 people. Animals are accepted as long as they are clean and
not noisy.
